So, with async being nixed from vanilla DXVK after the whole "Bliz Ban Controversy" a different answer to our cache stutter problem arose. [Thank you Dox for generally being awesome] Now we have _GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEAN_UP variable option, which although isn't new, is an interesting option. This allows the shader cache for various games to exceed the once limiting 128mb to whatever the game needs, thus greatly reducing stutter. This on top of a new nividia update and a new DXVK release version make for quite the buttery experience.
