How does Osmos play on the SteamDeck, do you use Mouse and Keyboard, or some controller profile?

Out of the box any deck game that doesn't have gamepad support uses a keyboard + mouse profile, Osmos works perfectly well with it.

Just gonna throw in the newly released Rollerdrome. It's basically a mix between Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Max Payne; i.e. you roll around in skateparks doing mad tricks while also gunning down armed attackers. Immensely fun and both runs and plays pretty much flawlessly on the Deck.

Blasphemous is regularly (and as of commenting, currently) on sale for a smidge over $6 usd and runs spectacularly on Deck.

+1 for deep rock on the deck. I had 300 hours in it on pc before getting my deck, and I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to adjust going from exclusively mouse and keyboard to the controller layout, and I was shocked how well the games plays in this format. Trying to adjust the settings menu via deck was a bit of a pain but otherwise I didn't have any issues. I even play with my friends with voice chat via discord and it runs super smooth the whole time. It's an amazing game for anyone to play with so much variety and progression, not to mention the joy of downing pints and rocking out with your friends (or even total strangers) in the lobby. Rock and Stone forever!

I have 150 hours in Noita and I've only ever beaten it once. Been playing it in desktop mode, I should give the gamepad controls a go sometime.

Would love to get Baba is You - if it weren't already on my Switch, so all of my progress is there. The puzzles can get devilishly hard. Deep Rock Galactic - looks like a cross between Half-Life 2 and Astroneer? Interesting.

Have you tried any of the Geometry Wars games? I haven't tried them on Steam Deck yet but Polychromatic looks extremely similar. Also Blaze Rush is definitely getting added to the Wishlist looks like a blast

Thanks for this - I've wishlisted most of these. Osmos I remember playing a lot on my phone back in the day. Didn't know there was a PC version. If you're looking for something else that works really good on the Deck - The Last Campfire (by Hello Games... yes, *that* Hello Games) is quite wonderful. By the same token, Little Nightmares (I + II) are also well worth a look.

nice 😃, Iv added a few that I hadnt heard of / forgotten to my wish list, tnx 🙃. Rogue Legacy and Dungeons of Dreadrock are on sale justnow for few $ if people are after a few more cheap recommendations, I just grabbed them and both seem to work well... Rogue Legacy has no deck rating but It has a gold rating on proton DB at least hehe. Some other games that I have been enjoying for months and haven't noticed mentioned for the deck really are Dishonored, Wolfenstein the new order, Redout, Dragons Dogma, Styx Masters of Shadows, Mark of the Ninja Remastered, The Vagrant, Spirits Abyss, Cat Quest 2, Superflight. emm.. lol.. I could keep going, but haha, I would be here all night 🤭 There are so many games that are great and work perfectly on the deck and can be grabbed for $1-5 or so in sales or are just cheap to start with hehe.

I’m super impressed by Jedi fallen order, free with EA play and plays almost as well add on my 2070 laptop. Also, impressed by home world remastered plays better than I thought for an rts with a controller thanks to the track pads
