Valve has updated their list of their most-played #SteamDeck games, so heres the top 10 by hours played for September 2022. @@BobDevV In FPS shooters try use the Gyro activating only while aiming down the sight or pushing L4, as a mouse "purist" it lets me enjoy shootes on the Deck.

Looking at the Performance Data for Cyberpunk, i wouldn't be satisfied with the frame rate, Power Draw or frame pacing. 🙈

Honestly. Plays and looks awesome on deck. Think people need to just stop looking at stats etc. My deck performance with it has been nice. Handheld cyberpunk is incredible feat.

@@jarkomo They deserve some credit for turning it around and committing to the cleanup project. The game is so good right now and sets itself up well for a much-anticipated DLC release. Not all launch botch-ups are the same. Other companies have done far, far worse.

Man, who would've thought No Man's Sky would be in the top ten of anything 6 years after release. And it has been consistently since the Deck released. Also a Switch release arriving next week. Bonkers.

Just need Bungie to get BattleEye to work with Proton and enable Destiny 2 on Steam Deck. Then I'd fork over that money.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, bungie already said they don't like Linux at all, so support for the deck is very unlikely, but a man can dream

Dreamlight valley is pretty similar to animal crossing so im sure most people playing it are people who were into animal crossing on the switch. That's why it's a hit.

Am I the only one facing this weird issue with Vampire Survivors? Every time I launch it, the steam loading icon pops up and then for a second it shows a black screen as if the game is about to start. Then it just goes straight back to the steam loading screen and gets stuck indefinitely there. I've tried both the public betas and all the launch options prompted during launch, but none work. I also finally tried installing it on my internal drive but no luck again. Am I the only one with this weird problem?

I will be honest, I got my 512gb deck in July and I plan on starting a playthru of Final Fantasy 3 3d/rm someday, but right after I got it I finally finished my first custom loop with a 9900ks and a 3090 fe to push my 21:9 hdr monitor and, well, it's just a shinier toy than the deck. I would never use that beast desktop to play ff3 so I still have use for it but on the other end with an hdr 1000 certified ultrawide and the gpu to push it I will never play cyberpunk on my deck because why? One big disappointment so far with it was trying to stream from said desktop. I forget what I tried but it was only getting like 5 fps, granted I have owned my steam link for sometime and understand how local streaming works and unfortunately I do not have my desktop hard lined to my router it's over wifi to wifi, not ideal, I'm sure I can tweak it a bit more to get better results and it was only a half hearted attempt but still kind of sad, it'd be nice to know that was option if a game won't work on my deck and or just want to sit on the couch though. I still love it regardless. I bought my steam controller in 2017 and love it and knew what kind of polish this would have and did not have any doubts from valve and was not disappointed.

Highly recommend Enderal who anyone who likes Skyrim, it's a fell conversion mod, a new game basically. New map, characters, story line, quests, music, leveling system, magic system, items, weapons, armor, etc. etc. Fully voice acted, and the music is amazing, runs great on Steam Deck, free if you already own Skyrim.
