i noticed just yesterday that the screen edges settings will sometimes work in game mode also! i was using ryujinx to play my switch games and when it froze on me i was able to close it by moving the cursor into the corner (or tapping the corner with my finger) which brought up an X in the opposite (right) corner that i could then use to close the app.

KDE Connect is super cool, but annoyingly doesn't work in game mode (without some extra fiddling I imagine). If it was embedded into gamemode too it'd be WAY more useful!

quick bonus for gnome users, there is an extension called gs connect that is basically kde connect but with better integration with the gnome desktop that is pretty cool

We all make mistakes no harm done unlike me I set a password on mines when doing the plugins and now I forgot what I used😕 is there any way of changing the password? I keep getting a popup window on desktop mode asking for a password for something about the nvme card I switched and can't get the password right?

No problem, kde didn't really make it that obvious and valve's announcement didn't help either. iirc kde has not enabled it by default, because it is not finished yet. It will eventually become more powerful. I assume that when it is finished, present windows will be removed.

Has 3.4 fixed any update bugs? When I got my deck, it updated to 3.3 on first setup a while ago. After that it was not able to install anything off of discover or check for updates. So I switched to windows 10. (I did do multiple RMA's and this is my third deck that did this, so I assumed it is a bug) Windows works great, but would prefer the steam OS experience. But that bug was awful. Just wondering if anyone experienced this and 3.4 fixed it.

I am running preview and I only now discover (through your other video) that KDE connect is now build in. The flatpak didn't really work, and this does, I had to remove the flatpak and now it all works \0/

hello Liam , do you have a method to use keepassXC in gaming mode ? I was thinking of using kde connect and copy paste from my iphone but seems the clipboard is unusable . I tried to ask on Decky loader discord , but nobody seems to have interest. Im very surprised valve didnt offer any solution for inputing pwd in gaming mode as many launcher requires it. Security should be n1 priority as all those account are linked to sensitive information .
