Oh yeah, the FOV you're having there is a known issue. Might've been fixed in the dailies, not sure.

600 hours clocked on this game on the xbox in my youth, that probably did include 150 hours of loading time to be honest

Last I checked, the guys working on Skywind were willing to lend their assets to OpenMW, which would *really* bring it up to date!

Any clue how openMW compares to Cube2 or Tesseract? Basically, the stuff Red Eclipse and Xonotic run on...?

It works with the Steam Digital Release of Morrowind as Well. If you have the Retail copy of the GotY Edition on DVD/CD you can install it using OpenMW. (On Windows, install the game first then link the Engine to your Morrowind Data folder instead)

OpenMW (Only playing the Nightly) is great on Android, spend a lot time in it^^ And its also a game I love as child. OpenMW best thing´s are bug fixes, a lot of them!! To Morrowind: I dont know how much time I spend in it, also dont know it for Oblivion and Skyrim but in my eye is Morrowind better than all the other.. Yeah its not ever direct Dmg to enemy´s but it feel like a P'n'P. Every Weapon deal min. 3 kinds of Dmg (Forward, Side and Normal) you got 4 kinds of Armor (non, light, middle and heavy) you have a lot of different Weapons typs (non, sworts, long, spear, blunt and archer (even the archer got a lot of weapons type´s) its more as in ALL other TES games (Yeah over the Year it goes more and more down ;P) But a Copy of Morrowind whit DLC and try it on PC or Mobilephone^^
