@@sethgardner could you potentially be able to select the separate window in the menu you'd usually go to in order to exit a game? I'm pretty sure at one point I've seen a place to swap between separate windows that I'm assuming it detects came from the same program.

@@zipzoom1926 if you have 50+ discord servers you're in it gives you a pop up message that you can't see in the handheld mode but if you open it up in desktop mode you can clear the message and it should persist the next time you open it in handheld mode.

Ah, thought I was the only one lol. Not only can I not see the mouse for discord, the Deck won’t force close the app and requires a restart every time, update on this will be very helpful from OP

The only time he leaves Gaming Mode in this video is to install it and add it to Steam. Everything else is in Gaming Mode.

so i have tried to follow your guide. but even with my discord open and the active thing on my steam deck, if i have a game open as well, it still tries to activate things in the game instead of letting me use the discord, other than that it works fine
