@KuittheGeek "but I'm cheap".... welcome to my world :D. Yeah, thanks for this, I've been looking into it, for a play around.

@notjustforhackers4252 For what it is worth, I have used a CamLink clone that I picked up on Amazon for $10, I think, with an HDMI splitter so I can get the video out from my device to the capture device and monitor. Mine is only 1080p30, but you can get other variants for a little more and it is a cheap barrier to entry, if you wanted to try it. Same thing, pipe the USB as a source into OBS, and you are off. There are likely better options for more money, but I'm cheap, and it was good enough for me. :)

I mentioned how it sends the signal, it’s just a USB cable to your PC and then in OBS Studio you just add the source for it.

I dislike Elgato personally because they offer zero Linux support and only work via hacky third-party community code.

@gamingonlinux Hi, would streaming be possible with setup like that but using Steam Deck for Game and PC for OBS and stream?

You can do it in desktop mode sure but the Deck doesn't have a lot of power available to use up with something like OBS, considering plenty of games hit it pretty hard already.
