Its cool that you can easy stream 16:9 on TV with Steam Link, but it works without "resolution menu" in display settings and has some problems, sadly. I want to have an option to enable it manually.

@Susan doesn't understand fair use Half Life 3 has proven to be far more valuable as a desire then it ever would have been as a game.. Having an IP (intellectual property) that people are hoping to see continued some day is essentially " money in the bank ". You can borrow against that collateral. You can leverage. You can poke fun and get attention on twitter. All for little or no continued investment. Just remind people about the IP often enough to keep it alive. And every time you have something else you want to market you will always have an audience..

It's cool to have a company paying so much attention to it's community! People started modifying their boot videos and where other companies would lock down this ability, Valve instead expanded the capability, made it simpler and even plan on releasing more options on the points shop! It's refreshing to see such openness

Got my steam deck 3 weeks ago, been LOVING it! From the custom boot animations, to the emulation, to how so many games work on it, to there wonderful work with proton and I have even been watching horror movies before bed on it lately. Thing is awesome and feels like it was made with the customers in mind, its so open to the user to do whatever they want its wonderful to see in this day and age on a handheld. I had high expectations and it has shattered it so far.

kinda wished the machine booted while the video was going. could be cool to get a video the length of the entire bootup sequence and we only see the video we chose instead of also seeing the steam logo

Yeah it's exactly what I did. The video downloader app in desktop mode is entirely standalone, they don't conflict.

Due to the way it works and how it hooks directly into Steam, I think on a technical level it wouldn't work as a Flatpak.

Howdy Liam! Just curious, do you experience any lag issues with Decky Loader? I found a Reddit post from someone who’s used it recently and said it caused lag issues. Like Horizon was crashing often when it only crashed once for him before getting the plug-in. When he uninstalled Decky Loader, it solved all lag and crashing issues. I’m wanting to use this plug-in but I’m not sure if it is worth the performance of my Steam Deck. What’s your opinion on this matter and what has your steam deck’s performance been like while using decky loader?

I just bought the Nreal Air glasses , Hooked up my steam deck and my FPS was locked at 30 no matter what i selected in Steam Deck , It was also looking a bit rough . Thankfully I came across this vid . I had no idea the latest update messed with external display settings and I probably wouldn't of found out how to fix without your help . Thanks :) Subbed
