Usually the case with non-native games right at release yes. Until Valve can build up a cache to share out to players.

Works a charm with proton on linux, even DLSS! didn't get any ray tracing that i could see tho!

proton has come so far, I buy Windows games without hesitation, I've spent 40 hours of my life on days gone over the past few weeks without issues -- once I discovered the GE proton builds, that's my goto.

What are those temps? 105°C on the CPU at <50%, should not those temp be triggering some kind of emergency shutdown? I'm guessing the measurement is far from being accurate.

When I downloaded it I couldn't even run it on pop os. I might switch to ubuntu to run these games. For me I tried epic games and steam and couldn't get it to work.
