Next year I will get on deck 💫🎮🏆

What I love about Insomniacs PC Ports on Steam Deck, is that they use the correct and mixed Controller scheme of the Deck.

Honestly, just put it at 30fps. I’d rather have rock solid 30 fps, than 45 full of stutters, frame drops, and instability. And it should also improve the battery life.

I prefer Miles power over OG Spiderman. They are more fun.

I enjoyed it on the steam deck at 30 FPS for about an hour while it was downloading on my PC. When I shifted over to my PC it wouldn't even load. Just a black screen.

This was such a fun game to play. Guys, enjoy!

I have mine set to locked 30fps, medium present TDP 8, get a pretty consistent 30fps throughout the first 2 hours so far.

Agree, I played the first one at a steady 30 fps cap with a lot of taxing settings to low (crowd, traffic, hair...), no fsr or other upscaling, getting about 2h30 of battery life and enjoyed similar perf yesterday with this new one. 30FPS is sufficient on this screen for a game like this.

Mine ran pretty smooth @40,using default tweaked up/down. Not sure if the 4gb Vram and 16gb swap are helping or I haven’t reached a hard to run area as I just started it.

Those changes you’ve done likely do help, but they’re a doubled edged sword and can make performance worse in other games.

It doesn’t let you set it to 40 in-game. So I like the numbers to match.

This is so damn impressive that the steam deck can run a PS4/PS5/PC game like this.

oh man this looks kinda rough... impressive that its a handheld no way a switch could look even close without insane optimization from devs. But mine and many others first impressions of this game were on ps5... this game was built to showoff ray tracing and without it wow it just looks so rough.. Personally i wont be playing this on my deck which is sad because i was looking forward to this one but i have a pc that will make it look as good or better than the ps5 so i will still pick it up.... ps4 games are perfect for deck though and if you only want ps4 quality this game will prob be fine... this video just looks like it has no AA(even though you clearly have 4x enabled) and some weird artifacts probably from fsr like you mentioned... but honestly on the steamdeck screen you probably wont notice as much if at all..

Have you noticed that spider-man stutters in MM? This game needs some improvements before I start playing it on Deck/PC. Even on my high-performance gaming rig I see some jarring issues. I would recommend holding off for a bit, personally,

Yeah it does have plenty of areas that stutter on Deck and PC.
