I wonder if this works on multi-player? I'm assuming maybe not if Microsoft implements anticheat? I would smash the shit outta that purchase button if not :p halo is my favorite series of all time! Playing on Linux would be a dreaaam! :)

UPDATE: the lastest build of Proton (4.11-10) has Valve-confirmed support for The Master Chief Collection, though they do warn that some gamemodes are disabled by EAC. Build 4.11-1's patch notes contained a comment about how parts of Wine were being recompiled not as Linux libraries but as Windows PEs which "will eventually help some DRM and anti-cheat systems", so it seems like a workaround for EAC is on their to-do list.

Today linux is one of the best places to be a gamer, a lot of amazing native games(Shadow of the tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, Shadow of Mordor, etc), more than 6, 500 proton games, emulators(snes, ps2, ps3, gamecube+wii, etc), and it keeps improving, is amazing how far it came, it just needs more media, btw nice video man.

hey ..i know its 4 years ago now but im switching now from Windows to Linux and i wonder how you get it to run ..dont you need Xbox live to run it in Linux? i mean i can start it but it allways fails to connect to xbox live because its Not supported for Linux ...is there there a pathway to get arround without Xbox live im currious?
