What are your specs? I'm curious because on that Island level the performance on my system went really down. On your video it seems to be OK. (AMD FX 8350 GTX 780)

Gaming On Linux Yeah, I try the GL threaded method all the time (is one of the first thing that I do) and rarely found to be ineffective (Metro games are the exception for example), but even with this in certain parts of the island the perf is going really down. Not very happy with my current CPU. And thanks.

airspeedmph Intel i5-2500k 3.3GHz, GTX 760 and 8GB of RAM. You can squeeze more frames out of it by enabling GL threaded optimizations. Just put "LD_PRELOAD="${LD_PRELOAD} libpthread.so.0 libGL.so.1" __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 %command%" in the launch options on Steam. Only works on Nvidia though.
