Great, thanks, it seems to run pretty well natively, I couldn't find any video of this game running on the Steam Deck, such an underappreciated and overlooked game in my opinion. Wondering if it runs better with Steam Runtime Environment, or running the Windows version through Proton. Anyway, have been playing the game more, how are you finding it on Deck or just in general???

This was my first time on it, you can probably tell by failing to work out how to use abilities until the tutorial finally said it. So far, pretty good! Performance seems to not be an issue at all on the Native Linux build it was verified as Playable on.

I'm still stunned how Windows games are easily running no matter what wine frontend you're using: Steam+Proton or Lutris. I remember back in 2013 I've tried to launch Freelancer through wine on Ubuntu whatever version it was and there was 15 fps shitshow with broken fonts in the main menu. At that moment I thought "Ugh yeah, maybe one day..."

@@bubbadaluva191 Was stuck there too for a sec. Go to your Steam Controller Settings. On the Steam Deck right side, select Gamepad. Now it should accept and let you change it to "Controller" within the game's settings.

What do you mean put steam input into a gamepad mode? Every time I try to change it to controller it switches back the input mode to keyboard.
