Yes, but isn't Proton an emulation / compatibility layer for Windows games on Linux. So technically it isn't Linux native... and game publishers aren't rushing to build Linux native version either.

@Pavel Alexandru I only wrote it because the word "technically" was spelled. And technically proton is not an emulation. But maybe I get the word "technically" wrong because I'm not a native English speaker. I didn't mean then to argue about whether we should use the word emulation or not. However, the fact is that the word emulation can be a bit misleading, because it can be associated with a fairly large loss of performance, which is not necessarily true for example in the case of the proton and steam deck. But also because it is not emulation there can be other bugs and not working stuffs

Tehnically wine is not emulator. Wine translates systemcalls or something like that
