@@420247paul It dose not change anything in initial comment if I had written Linux instead of GNU/Linux. Linux is just the kernel on it's own and GNU/Linux is Linux plus everything else to make it a proper and usable OS. The game onto it's own will not run very well on the bare Kernel. Vulkan (Apache License 2.0) is required which is build with GNU utilities. Than you need an XOrg or Wayland Dispaly Server to actually see anything, also GNU. Sound: Pulse Audio, JACK, GStreamer what ever. Also GNU projects. Also Stadia is based upon Debian, again, GNU/Linux. I agree with you that the Stadia cloud framework is far away from being GNU and open source but a lot of free and open source utilities are still there to make the thing actually work. So I think GNU/Linux version is the better wording for this.

Problem is Stadia will likely dwarf the Linux desktop market share. At least Google is treating Linux the same here.

I don't like google at all but I prefer it over windows since they do at least realize the majority of their software on linux, and this may mean better compatibility for Linux games. So it had be best if google were the one to win in the cloud gaming thing, at least until a better option comes into play.

You have only Destiny 2? intresting watching Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey or Metro Exodus if u have it....

Did you had to adjust some settings for chromium or install some plugins? I red that Linux has some issues with Stadia because of hardware acceleration which should not working on chromium... (but don't know if thats true) I love Stadia so far and thinking to try to switch to linux again for the 50th time or so :D :D :D But gaming always brought windows back so far, even if I hate it...

As per the full article, linked in the description: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/15466 no we did not need anything extra. Plain Chromium, worked out of the box on both Ubuntu and Manjaro Linux.

But when i check in protondb destiny 2 is borked? Can you tell me your config?

Its Google Stadia, not playing the game on Linux it self, but it is a game streaming platform.

I was not able to make it run, a lot of users have black screen..
