I'm glad to see that this works out the gate, unsupported has bit me in the ass a few times. Hell, even playable has been an issues from time to time so it can still feel a little like the wild west. And since Deck status has replaced 'controller supported' for me as my major deciding factor when buying anything on Steam now, I'm glad to see videos like these since there isn't much coverage for some games on the matter.

Thanks for the video. I made the same changes to my graphic settings and it still seems like my deck is about to catch on fire. It’s a shame I can’t play this on the highest settings. I tried playing this through Xbox cloud streaming and it works okay but with occasional buffering issues. The next thing I want to try is playing this through remote play on the PS5. Console vs Cloud. Still looking for the best way between the 3 scenarios to play

CotW, Snowrunner and some strategy stuff like Fire Emblem will give me endless replayabilty ^^ Just need to set everything up and get used to the controls haha :) So happy that my Deck arrived today!

anyone still playing COTW on steam deck?? i can't close the game properly, always gotta do "steam button + B", i've tried proton experimental, G, i've tried alot, a bit too much than i'd like to write here. the game runs great, until i have to close it

The funny thing is way of the hunter, which can barely run at 30fps on the deck is marked as playable, but a similar game that runs much better is “unsupported”
