It really is; I played this as a kid decades ago on CD and was so impressed. I bought it from GOG about a year ago and it still holds up incredibly well. It has aged phenomenally. There's also a communtiy that that adds graphical improvements as well. Impressive stuff!

I remember back when this game first came out, no PC could handle it at max settings, even the best ones at the time. This game was like Crysis before Crysis.
