Linus Tech Tips is limiting himself to using SteamDeck as his only PC for all of the month of March. I'm curious what he'll say afterwards about its viability as a substitute for a tablet, laptop, or desktop.

@@SamVeneman Anti-Cheat is a special thing. It's taken a while but BattlEye and Easy Anti-Cheat now fully support Linux and Proton, but all developers need to update and test for it to work on Deck and only a couple have.

Won't work due to anti-cheat, developer needs to support the Deck.

Can you try some ray traced games? RDNA 2 apu supports ray tracing I just want to see the performance

It would play, but it won't have Ray Tracing as that's not fully hooked up yet in the AMD Mesa drivers for Linux.

That's quiet the list...lol...

Have you tried playing Minecraft with steam input and native linux version? I really want to see what kind of battery life you could expect.

If I may ask How are you able to play the game using the controller settings? Whenever I launch it, the game thinks I'm using mouse and keyboard

The latest release supports Steam Input, you need to make sure to pick the new official config.

Where do I find the offical controls layout on my Deck? Doesn't seem to be there and the ones from Valve / the community aren't very intutive at all. Like I can't even select anything in the main menu without using the Touchpad. EDIT: Offical configuration appears if you switch to the beta version. Got it working this way and fixed the weird controls!
