The steam deck is such a good hand held console im a massive xbox fan but haven't turned it on since i had my deck in the first quarter always liked the look of pc gaming but never really had the money to afford a decent rig but with the deck im able to play most of the games ive wanted to play so its a win for me tbh i wish there were advertisements every where for it then it would be come more mainstream and they games list would jump massively 👍👍

I have been playing Grim Dawn on the steam deck. Although I'm playing the GoG version. I bought it like years ago, and never played it past the character creation. But now, finally, I started playing it on the deck and I'm loving it. The game itself is configured to be very controller friendly and it runs just fine on the deck.

I just installed Crysis 2. It's says playable but it might as well be verified. It will run at 60 fps on ultra settings. The track pad and gyros work great making the whole experience silky smooth. I put jump, crouch, cloak, and reload on the back buttons so I almost never had to take my index fingers off the triggers or my thumbs off the analog sticks and track pads. I highly recommend it for anybody that wants to play a buttery smooth fps on a hand held.

@@Arigatex Hey, just reporting back. I've finished the game and the endgame is as smooth as everything before. Over my ~70h playthrough I had maybe a handful random crashes, but nothing dramatic at all.

@@Arigatex I'm not in the late game yet... I played about 20 hours on the standard settings and I had one single crash. There is rare stuttering when new areas load (lasts around 5-10 seconds). Up until now I'm super happy!

Last I heard from HZD was that it runs well at the beginning and then get stuttery on the late game. Did you also get that?

Doesn't come as real surprise. The compatibility has been clearly made first for highly recommend games, so that players wouldn't be too disappointed with the console. So I argument there's a certain bias there.
