Well, my Deck is in RMA. Not the only one. I wonder how their quality level will be assured while increasing output.

It isn't unreasonable to assume 1-2% of a product has a fault that requires either a fix or replacement and given how anyone with a deck today has to be very in tune with the online space to have known to order early, I think we can assume a far greater percentage of faults will be shared in the community than you would expect for the type of product.

This is exciting news for future Deck owners!

I am in the "After Q3" bucket, but I am really hoping that with this ramp up, Valve will update the steam page to reflect Q4 and possibly even those who move from "After Q3" to "Q3", if any. I have been looking at the data lately from Moo's calculator, as I was curios to see when the order pace dropped off after preorders went live, and it looks like the majority of the orders (at least in the US queues, I am still working on the others) were made in the first 8 hours. After that, there is a big drop off, and I suspect that we will start seeing the queues moving by hours to days after they pass the 8 hour mark. I am in the US 256Gb queue, and it is currently around the 6 1/2 hour mark, so with the latest update from Valve, we could see the queue pick up within the next 2 weeks, possibly by the time next Monday's emails go out. But time will tell. I am really hopeful now though that we can start seeing people getting moved up in the queue. I would love to get mine in late Q3.

Why wait? There's no real need for an official dock. Any usbc laptop dock will work just fine. I use my dell usbc work laptop dock hooked up to two monitors through displayport. I also have a small usbc-hdmi dock that I used to use for my phone that I use with the deck to plug into my big screen tv.

If you have steam open on your PC you'll get a big notification window that pops up over everything else. Surprised me at first as I thought something was wrong.

I have completely migrated from Playstation to Steam over the past year. Valve actually sells their Steam Deck to gamers while Sony sells to scalpers and keeps wasting people's time with their stupid lottery system.

Wie lange dauert bei dir der Versand?

Hidden in my house is an envelope with the exact money for the steam deck, haven't touched it lol. Sd card has been purchased from last year, bluetooth earbuds labeled steam deck on the case sit on a charging station, usb c port ready to go. It's safe to say I've been anticipating this very much.

Yeah i was pushed from Q2 512gb UK into Q3 as it changed from normal pre order queue to country queue US/CA first then probably EU/UK etc dunno hows that working now but hopefully they dont push me to Q4 again but again if they do doesnt matter ill have more spare time time to save the money i have pre ordered on July 19th 2021
