It's great to see online multiplayer games being supported! I hope it will become even more common in the future!

I enjoyed splitgate on linux alot, although the loading/starting process was a little werid, and sometimes the fps would randomly drop from 60 to 20-30.

@@dreki-brawlstars I Checked pretty recently, not sure hwta is causing it exactly but when I look at items in the locker (not always just sometimes, couldnt figure out a pattern), the fps go down to 20-30 no matter what, until i get into a game and it goes normal again 😕 I checked just now, it now drops to 40, then crawls back up to 60 very slowl no idea why, no such problem ingame, GTX 1650 Super is your wondering

Splitgate was one of the first games I played on my deck and it was awesome plus gyro aiming in splitgate was a dream come true it worked really well. Probably won't be hitting top rank anymore considering I'm playing with a controller on pc servers but still a great game to bring with me on the go whenever I'm hanging out with my mates

Nope and no plans to play that micro-transaction shitfest.

This game is really great but I agree it has major performance issues on the Steam Deck. As for gyro controls, I have a gameplay video on my channel where I play with trackpad+gyro and do very well. It has about 2k views as of right now. I also have a tutorial video on setting up trackpad and gyro controls with two different methods that both work great in Splitgate.

Gyro and Flick Stick took me 3 days to get used to with a game I know in and out, Doom 2016. Now I set up a stream profile for it in every FPS game. I'm fantastic once you learn it.

I'm surprised it has such performance issues. Hopefully 1047 will work at optimization for the van gogh chip

Lol the controller thing is a tired myth! I only play using a controller and I love this game. Split gate isn't an aim and shoot game, it also relies on movement heavily thanks to that generous amount of health, as well as jetpacks, you can't argue that the movement method of a gamepad is far more superior compared to a keyboard. If you were talking about CSGO or valorant I'll agree with you that you'll need a mouse as those games are literally just about aiming and shooting while standing still or crouching and aiming is definitely more precise on a mouse. If you're good with a controller, you can easily outclass pc gamers. My problem with splitgate on steamdeck is the refresh rate, but on my gaming pc I always played with a controller and had 1st or 2nd place (not ranked though).

@@Sencolic hi bro, do this: in desktop mode: goto: ~/.config/Epic/PortalWars/Saved/Config/LinuxNoEditor and open GameUserSettings.ini, The fix was to set: bHasRunAutoCalibration=False to bHasRunAutoCalibration=True managed to play multiplayer!
