Hello! :) Dying Light definitely runs great on Deck, very nice to see the OpenGL port perform this well.

WOW I didn't make it far enough in this game to get the grapple hook, it really changes the way you play. I gotta give it another go!

@@jay-tr2xq I personally love DL2, it’s very buggy sometimes (mostly multiplayer) but still a lot of fun, not to mention the devs are dedicated to 5+ more years with it, which is even more content for you to enjoy

to be honest after some time it was the most fun when I used it only in situations where it was really needed and not to make the traveling easier because parkour in the game is soo fun(at least for me, i understand why some people would use it all the time though), i definitely recommend playing the whole game even though I didn't yet, because I'm waiting for my deck to play the game on it lmao although now I'm realizing that i didn't have to stop, I forgot that there's the dlc and new game+ which i definitely plan on playing too so i still have a TON but yeah, i definitely recommend to try it again because it's very fun

I've been playing this at it's kinda sub 30fps on switch. Actually pretty playable on there since the input lag is real low for the frame rate. It runs fine at 60 here but once they patch it I can see using the 30fps mode on here being real nice.

Those survivors in the beginning who saved crane are so weak. They can't even defeat few virals, and they expect themselves to survive.

Basically the story needs the plot to happen, an example of the sometimes questionable writing in Dying Light. Note: potential story spoilers below, if you rather not read any comments on the why/what around that little situation. It's a bit curious how both Rais men and the survivors spotted Cranes parachute so fast and managed to reach it almost immediately as he landed, they never reach any airdrop that fast. Whatever. :) Jade is a badass. An international kickboxing champion managing to survive the post-zombie-apocalypse ghost city of Harran while also fighting other human factions, vying for what little resources are left in this quarantined part of the world. Amir was her boyfriend, and we later learn that he was also a GRE (Global Relief Effort) agent, tasked with escorting Doctors Camden and Zere out of Harran. It's possible Amir wasn't combat trained, or trained enough, but it's debatable how one would train for a scenario like this. The severity of the outbreak was also downplayed officially, allowing the catastrophe to escalate until it inevitably escaped the quarantine zone. It seems everyone who went to Harran from the outside were largely clueless as to what was happening there. Preparing properly would have been essentially impossible. I still feel like Amir would have learned some fighting skills from Jade and adapted tactics to deal with the swarms of infected. However, the only real defense against overwhelming odds is to be somewhere else. Jade and Amir killed two virals outside and could perhaps have defeated the three remaining as well, but I think they knew more were coming and had to bug out as fast as possible if they were to have any chance of rescuing the injured newcomer. Two people carrying or dragging a semi-unconscious adult male will struggle a fair bit, needing to simultaneously fight off ravenous zombies sure wouldn't help. Amir was eventually ganked by three virals, effectively sacrificing himself to save his girlfriend and by extension, also saving Crane. It's unclear if Amir knew Crane was coming, or if he knew/recognized Crane. It's not a major plot point anyway. While Jade is sad/angry over Amirs death, it's not explored further. Perhaps something of a pragmatic survivor instinct, what's dead is dead and as long as you are not, keep moving. In any case, Amir doesn't really have time to make an impact on the player and is mostly relegated to a footnote in the subsequent story. Amirs death in relation to Cranes appearance is probably the main reason why you don't get to romance Jade. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can you try the binding of Isaac repentance? I know it should work fine, it's just that nobody had shown it on video yet

Linear scaling? Why not FSR?
