Can you test it with different devices and different chargers? There are reports of the previous version spoiling Aya Neo devices and jsaux seems to be claiming that this is due to unsupported device, not using "official charger" or charger is more than 50w etc (even though they keep advertising support for 100W) When most other usb c hubs would just work fine with any usb c/usb pd compatible devices.

It takes a fair bit of work and have choices between doing the sudo fu yourself, or using the install kit from Jsaux and reading the instructions. As noted, in Desktop Mode, creating the partition on the KDE partition manager does create the partition, but the partition choices may affect permissions and may not allow read/write permissions unless created or edited with those permissions

How are you saving 50 bucks? Do you know what's usually the price of a good nvme enclosure? Plus, will it look as slick? Having the nvme drive within the dock itself removes unnecessary clutter on your setup. I think the price is justified, it may be a bit on the pricy side but the official dock does not make the price justice specifically. Better go for the basic jsaux dock or even the recently released updated jsaux dock with both hdmi and display port for less than the official dock's MSRP price.

according to Jsaux, the M.2 bay has rated continuous speed of 900mb/s, which is slow in comparison to theoretical max of NVMe, but we can get away with use of SATA SSDs if speed is of no issue in a good chunk of games.

Could be 10 to 20 Gbps as far as i understand ? But afaik, even loading times from the internal m.2 aren't that much faster than from a MicroSD card so the bottleneck is elsewhere. But nevertheless, nice dock if you want to use it!

Wish I could get it AIO xD I agree on the UTP port; I'd rather have it a little bit wider to accommodate for it being on the back. JSAUX are slowly becoming a favorite of mine for tech gadgets. I already got a bunch of their USB type-a to type-c cables for various things, and three kinds of usb-c headphone adapters (a right-angled one, one with a short cable extension and a bigger dongle that allows for charging AND headphone jack use at the same time (tho no data connection sadly)). I also just today ordered a steamdeck dock from them (after an.... episode of the seemingly never ending saga of me failing to find a compatible cooler for my HTPC...)
