The thing that he attached the usb hub too can also be used to hold a power bank. The adhesive is incredibly strong

Pretty cool that they provide the 3D Printable files for free - anyone with a 3D printer can just print these out free of cost... buy some 3M wall tape and bam you have it.

I love that he has the models out there. If you bought when he was selling the 3d printed version, he sent one of the injection molded versions later. Having played with both, the injection molded on is a lot nicer. If I need more mount plates and the like, I'll probably print more, but I would recommend at least the base kit, the fit and finish is worth it for the part you interact with the most.

The fact that a larger powerbank covers the air vents is indicative of poor design and planning. The Steam Clip doesn't have this issue as you can use the top slot instead.

It's not an air vent, it's an air intake. There's also plenty of room for air to flow into said intake with a larger powerbank installed.

What is the "Steam Clip"? I can't imagine any clip-on attachement that involves a large power-bank not covering the airvents in some ways. Either way, as long as something isn't literally right up against the vent, it will suck in air just fine.

I have several small children. I like the idea of storing the deck up high out of their reach with a wall mount 🤔 I already do that with my main PC using a Thermaltake P3 case with a Vesa mount.

Yes you can, it fits into the JSAUX dock fine. Although, you wouldn’t need it on if you’re docking so you would just quickly take it off….

You can, it comes with a receiving mount that you can mount to the back of the usb hub and then attach the kickstand to it. I do this with my deck mate, a battery pack, and the kickstand. Works great

I have placed a double sided velcro on a 2tb ssd and stuck it ton the back of my steam deck as well as a dongle to be able to place my things on the back of the deck to where I may place a stand. You can put the other adapter that let's you place things in it on the back of the dock thing so you can have a stand on it or put it on the wall
