Nice to see some GE Proton changes being merged here. Halo Infinite getting in-game is great to see! Looking forward to the improved OOBE for some of these blockbuster titles. Call of Duty next I pray

GE Proton is just basically patches from everywhere else, most of them being worked on for Proton directly.

if it breaks, just switch, but its usually ok. I don't like taking the chances of things breaking with updates, so I usually try a set version of GE Proton, and if everything works, I just leave it on that one forever knowing it should keep working.

Yay! Sound finally fixed in FF IV 3D... Alas, controller is not detected by the application, desptie Steam showing the controller overlay.

I wonder if they accidentally put it as verified instead of the pixel remaster as that was showing as playable for a while instead of verified as it played completly fine

Thanks for your videos. Wondering if you plan to get the Pico 4 and see if it can work with the steam deck? I am thinking of getting one instead of buying Nreal Air which I know works with Steamdeck. Of course they are quite different devices, with Nreal strong suit is that it has OLED and I know it works. Pico 4 is a full fledged VR kit, alas no OLED, but might work as well. At least with Virtual Desktop perhaps?
