You should do Remote Play then: you'll have better battery life and better graphics. Downside of needing WiFi to play though though

Use dxvk and turn off dynamic res scaling, both are mods. Will get much more consistent performance

@@abrahamalviarez5870 yes it’s the same with all games. Eventually Steam gives you it in a download, but it needs time to build up from people. Otherwise most day1 releases you need to build it up as you play

the fact that this game was a remake from the ps1 version that you have to play on an old tv with low poly graphics and now you get to play it in handheld with better graphics, is absolutely amazing.

@@StrikerTVFang Same, I bought the original PS4 game, then about a month ago I bought it on Epic Store when it was on sale finally giving up on the idea it would ever get released on Steam. Then two weeks later it gets announced for Steam, lol. I wouldn't have bought it a third time except they took time in the presentation to announce that the Steam version was Deck verified. So they managed to get my money a 3rd time...

This game does a lot better at 60 fps with low settings than 30 with high. It runs up on a ram bottleneck with high textures that makes it stutter even worse than normal.

I've never been into the Final Fantasy stuff, mostly because RPGs don't interest me. The RPG story lines do, but the genre with menus to attack and defend has never really did it for me. This game definitely changes that for me. But now I'd want to know the lore behind it. Does anyone know where I can start with FF lore but with gameplay that isn't based on the genre I described above? What is the first FF game I can play where I can discover the lore?
