Wish I could play these games that have the weird screen panning based on cursor position but they make me nauseous. If the dev sees this, please provide an option to disable it.

Theres a story questline about investigating whats going on and getting rid of bandit leaders and things like that, there are some randomly generated sidequests as well. There are rival factions you can side with if you want. Youre also free to ignore that and explore and loot around for a while if you want as well.

You forgot the link in the description but searching the name gives the first hit to Steam. However, I find it fairly expensive for how the current state looks, even with the current 10% sale. Gonna keep an eye on it, and waiting for (better) sales.

I can’t find a control layout I like for this game with the Deck. I’ve been playing it on my main PC with keyboard and mouse and it’s phenomenal.

Try mine man! I set up the quick slots as a radial menu with the left trackpad, which has really helped with quick heals. It starts with “EZ LOADLOUT” in community layouts. Also set up a CTRL shortcut for quickly picking up items with CTRL click

Hope the devs see this video. The deck is missing this kind of game to my knowledge (the cycle, tarkov etc) and controller support is what would make this a must buy.

It doesn't work well on steam deck at all. I bought it and tried it. You Can't aim properly and there are more keymap requirements than than available buttons on the deck. The bottom line, it's not made for controller at all. You will get killed trying to tinker around on the controls. I got it refunded on steam. Trust me it's not enjoyable.

I mean, it's an early access - many ea games don't have controller support until closer to release (depending on the ea model they use). I'm pretty sure it will get one soon-ish.
