I've been playing Visual Novels on mine. Like the obscure gay furry ones like Adastra and Lagoon Lounge and I'm so happy that all work without major issues.

This Vampire Survivor just looks like a slow motion bullet hell game to me. Try Waves and Geometry Wars 3 if you like that type of gameplay.

After coming home from a long day of work instead of sitting at my desk and playing a game I now feel more comfortable in bed under the blanket playing Stardew Valley in this entire week alone I've logged in over 55 hours to my game time and I have no regrets.

Same for me bro..... I am sitting all day in office on my PC. The Steam Deck is a nice and relaxing alternative to play your favourite games in bed, couch or on your chill Lounge in the garden. Believe me it feels really good and gives you kind of freedom vibes :D

@@gadgetine007 It runs perfectly, I have zero complaints. It took me a good part of my first play through to get the controls down since I've only ever played nms with mouse and keyboard but once I got everything down it was amazing. It's actually one of the games with full steam deck support as well so that's a plus.

Well when I first got y deck in April it was mainly red dead redemption 2, but this past week or 3 it's been a good mix of mechwarrior 5 and the mass effect remastered trilogy

@@CSFRazielCSF I think it is! Bought it on 3 different platforms and platinumed it twice. There’s a great mod for it on PC called Alias Isolation that really improves the image quality.

I haven't played multiversus since before their latest bug patch. But ever since they released it I'd get one huge frame drop that would stop my game for like 0.75 seconds. Then it wouldn't happen again for the play session.

Elder Scrolls Online? I installed it on a HoloISO build and it runs really well. ProtonDB helped me out with a couple of tips on dealing with the launcher iirc.

Dragon's Dogma ... Valve says it isn't playable, but that is because of a bug where they game open up your inventory as if it wants to rin a tutorial that doesn't exist, right at the start of the dragon fight on the beach, but if you "reload last checkpoint" the event will restart without the bug. From there, they game runs so perfectly as a handheld title that I would be willing to be that part of the extended delay to the game's development was that Capcom had intended to release it as a Vita game, but couldn't get it optimized enough to run smoothly (which would explain how toned down and basic the game's visuals are vs Capcom's regular console releases).

I've been on a metroidvania journey lately, so i played through Blasphemous, Bloodstained: RotN (re-played with the randomizer), Chasm, Yoku's Island Express. All of them perfect. I also tried a few different games with various results: - LEGO Batman literally better than on PC, as the fullscreen and controls just worked out of the box - though the lack of cloud saves was almost devastating - AC Unity runs well enough, and the controls are superior because of the back buttons, but I ultimately chose my 144hz desktop setup over it - Rebuild 3 seems perfect for the Deck, will be replaying it when I have the time - Heroes of Might and Magic 5 shockingly easily usable, I tried it on vacation, passing it around in a hot-seat game (or hot-potato lol) - Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl much like Multiversus, it's like it was designed for a powerful handheld device - Yes, Your Grace the controls being lacking combined with the design of the UI made it practically unplayable for me, unfortunately
