The game seem to be cpu intensive (that video doesn't show per core usage) as i had a bit of stuttering on a windows desktop (3700x running in eco mode, 45W tdp) paired with a 2080. I wouldn't expect it to play really well on the deck unless they do a lot of work on optimization unfortunately.

@@gamingonlinux no I spoke too soon. When i tried to launch Witcher 2 in gaming mode it failed again. But launches fine in desktop mode.

Thanks for the video! That said, I think it would go a long way if you were to plug a 3.5mm cable from your Deck into your PC, then record the sound and overlay it.

@@gamingonlinux I get where you're coming from, but capturing speakers over a microphone doesn't really give you an accurate representation of how the speakers sound either.

Thanks for the idea, it's an interesting one I might explore but then you don't really get a feel for the speakers which is a little part of the point of doing a direct video like it. I'll keep it in mind though.

I can starting the game fine under Proton Experimental on my Manjaro desktop, but the keybinding to jump off cliffs doesn't seem to function even if you reassign it. As a consequence, it's impossible to leave the starting area. *sigh*
