Paladins was also bumped back down to unsupported cause one of the proton fixes happened to just co-incide with the one week grace period for Paladin's EAC working. Store page should hopefully be updated soon.

Hey just so u know in 3.3 there’s still performance issues where available VRAM is halved in RDR2 and witcher 3 and other games that need it creating serious performance issues

I've noticed the same! A bunch of games I tried seem to be running really slow compared to before the update.

Have you noticed the performance issues in multiple games with the 3.3 update. Vram has been halved and other performance things. Games like rdr2 and GOW are seeing their performance halved.

I mean impressive but also weird since ge is on 7.2x......I'm glad they're finally getting up to this but man I wish they'd catch up here. Not that I can say much since I've been too distracted to game and I'm in the middle of trying to figure out anything that I wanna play somehow.

You seem a bit confused though. The Proton code base is developed by Valve so whatever they get out is the newest, they are not behind because they're literally the ones making it. GE being 7.28 or what is its latest, is not a newer version, it's because it is the 28th GE iteration on the 7.x codebase. GE is doing this for fun and for the community, which means less need for testing and also has less legal restrictions because he's not a company, like Valve is. If it works better, then great, use that, but recognise that his version is a patched up version of Valve's Proton.

GE is thoroughly different and has very little quality control, you can’t really compare the two. GE is mostly just pulling in patches from elsewhere

This last update made my steam deck buggy

every time i look at proton... it keeps getting miles better... also trove becoming playable? nice i remember i used to play that game so now that i know it's playable now... i might come back to it.

I really hope anticheat compatibility is still being worked on, feels like apex was just thrown at us to shut everyone up and nothing else has been mentioned since.

anti cheat compability is really not their problem. They would incorporate everything asap but these companies do not want that.

As someone who regularly buys them, I can never get tired of these kind of videos where they awkwardly avoid the weebier games. A shame though, because Doukyuusei is freaking legendary -- one of the games that established dating sim as a genre and popularized the concept of eroge.
