im trying to run cod black ops cold war on the deck. have you gotten it to work yet?

FFXIV launcher, who uses that again? I've been tempted to play that again.

When you go to the Non-Steam Games section of the Gaming Mode on Steam Deck, it gives you the option to install and use Google Chrome, but some people may want to use Open-Source web browsers such as Brave or Chromium. Maybe you can make a video where you show how to set those web browsers up to work in the Gaming Mode the same way Chrome does.

@@arianjafari-tadi5953 For Gaming Mode yes, just flick open Steam Input and select whatever input mode you prefer. There is a dedicated one for browsers already.

@@gamingonlinux and you need to set up Steam Input for those browsers in the same way Valve set it up for Google Chrome, to-be used in gaming mode, right?

Firefox is installed by default, you can just add that. I've already covered multiple times how to install and add stuff to Steam in other tutorial videos go check em out :)

don't play Black Ops 2 MP on Steam Deck. There's no controller targeting assist like there is in the console versions, and you'll be playing against exclusively M+KB players. Not even a tournament player will be able to compete on a controller configuration (like the Steam Deck's) with none of these controller features. It's M+KB or nothing for this game, and for all CoDs prior to MW2019, if I recall correctly, which is the first game to properly support console-level controller features on PC (due to Input-based matchmaking).

Still fun for bots and zombies. That's all I play anymore Edit: black ops 3 I believe was the first for aim assist on pc and I can confirm it's present in the steam deck. Can't speak for infinite and ww2 which released on steam after

Well, it's updated far more often than the main releases of Proton so there's more chance for games to stop working through regressions.
