It's not as fluid with 4 players though, even more so with the new event where tou have to foam infection spots

@@idcrafter-clippy Thats not how it works. He just set his keyboard to autocorrect and never adjusted or disabled it. Linux isnt some magical solution to the worlds problems.

Would be cool to see gameplay with controls visible. It seems like you are just using the sticks here though, no gyro aiming, touchpads or flickstick

@@gamingonlinux I see, that makes sense Is it not efficient enough to record video on the Deck itself? I guess you don't get to use the native AMD software outside of Windows

This was with a Bluetooth controller. Recording like this isn't ideal to hold the Steam Deck in hand, as it has wires going everywhere for the capture card.

NO no the FPS drops are too high. I saw somebody's settings low + medium + high settings gives very stable 45 FPS with 4 players and a lot of enemies on the screen.

I recommend capping deep rock galactic at 60 fps so the frames will be more stable Edit: Also FOR ROCK AND STONE!

Gyro is something that you can enable in steam software … so you can use it in any game

You can use mods to enhance performance. There are mods that get rid of a lot of cave details like fauna etc. And other mods that remove or limit particles, making the game run a lot smoother.

@@lewisgordon2525 using low to medium settings, you can expect 60+ fps with a no particles mod, however this does drop to high 40s when in a swarm, to fix this, install the no ragdolls mod.

Can confirm, I got my steam deck and using a no particles mod greatly improves performance.
