I've been playing God of War for the first time ever on the Steam Deck, it looks and plays amazing, what a game! Also been playing Days Gone which is another great game on the Deck.

personal recommendation for god of war! set the render scale up to 100, FSR disabled and film grain level 5, graphics settings set to default, looks stunning and you get locked 30fps!

We've been seeing many same games on the list for the past few months, we need to shout out the games which are not in top 10 There is many other new games gamers play then also on the deck but no youtubers mention them because they are not on top list and these games deserve to be mentioned

@GamingOnLinux totally understandable, and I know and sure you view a lot of games in your channel, but what I meant to not stick with top 10 only, let's mention other new games and most played too not only top 10

I regularly video all sorts of games, I never stick to just what's popular :) The problem as I see it though, is that the smaller games get basically no views compared to the big names, so I understand why others never touch smaller games.

'Hardspace: Shipbreaker' is probably my Steam Deck GOTY (and maybe overall GOTY. I haven't actually played many 2022 releases). It's not fully Deck Verified (requires text input at the very beginning, and has some small UI text throughout), but it plays just fine. Battery drain-wise gets about 2 hours of play time off of ~90% charge, but that's pretty much perfect for a 'going to bed' session, and the gameplay loop is broken up into fifteen minute 'shifts' where you dismantle a spaceship, so it's basically built for 'pick up and play for fifteen minutes while waiting for some real life thing to happen.' Runner-up is a 2021 release: 'Noita,' the 'every pixel is physically simulated' rogue-like. It's just the perfect game to play while watching TV. Weirdly, it runs much better on Proton 6 than Proton 7 (I started to get massive slowdown in the deeper levels on 7, but on 6 it runs fine throughout. Or at least as far as I've been able to get.)

Really enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam Deck, but playing Warhammer Darktide now and loving it, lots of fun and runs pretty well too.

Not a new game, but having the Deck got me to play Victor Vran again and I love it. For the 2022 games, Uncharted plays nicely and it's pretty fun.

Sunset Overdrive is easily the best/funnest I've played. GTA 4 & FIFA 22 was perfect experienced on deck. Spiderman blew me away but can't into the controls whilst playing other games. After Spiderman, plan to play DMC5, God of War, Uncharted, Max Payne 3, GTA 5 & RDR2 -(in that order). The Last of Us & Hogwarts Legacy will make decent future pickups.

I've played mostly games that I already owned, but never touched on PC...so here's my 2022 playlist for my Steam Deck in order of favorites: Desk Job Ori and the Blind Forest Relicta Brothers Tricky Towers Shank 2 Call of Juarez Gunslinger We were here together Bud Spencer and Terence Hill - Slap and Beans (works perfectly with remote play with 2 decks ;-) Gas Guzzlers Extreme Salt and Sanctuary All of them are working perfectly on the deck. Specially attention is Brothers which have the most unique control of your characters i've ever experienced. Liam have to try that one out on the deck ;-)

No Man's Sky still staying in the top 10 in mind boggling to me. I remember reading an interview where the developers thought that it wouldn't do very well on a handheld form factor. Guess they were wrong. XD
