Since the first episode was so well received, here's the second episode of the Linux Gaming News Punch, a bite-sized look at some interesting Linux gaming news in both video and audio-only forms. You can find the audio-only podcast version here: 

This episode is a little bit longer (almost double), since keeping it to five minutes was just too cramped. I'm now aiming to keep it at 10 minutes or under, since that sticks to the main aim of giving you quick and interesting news while giving a little more breathing room. 10 minutes feels pretty good overall I think!

Based on feedback, the video form of this also includes some video cuts and pictures to help with keeping people engaged. As mentioned originally, the aim is to continue to evolve it and improve it each week.

TL:DR: The added video is a huge improvement but ten minutes is too long. The good: having some video behind is audio is MUCH better and helps a ton. Maybe put the title of the game on the screen, too, at least at the beginning? Some of the complicated names are hard to hear correctly. Although I can look down in the description for them, having it on the screen would be really nice. Keep it up: I _love_ that you list all the topics down below and link to full articles on them. The less good: The length. Unfortunately I'm about half as likely to watch these if they're gonna be ten minutes rather than five. I understand that editing is hard but IMO less is more for a video recap like this. If I want more detail I'll read the associated article. In particular, the first five minutes of this seems much less tight than I was hoping for. Once it got into the games news it was a lot better. Tiny nitpick: I don't think there's any benefit to reading out such a specific number like "a hundred and twenty-four thousand, five hundred and twenty-nine copies". Just say "around a hundred and twenty five thousand." You don't need it to be so accurate, and spoken numbers are especially hard for non-native English speakers. Overall still an excellent job and I look forward to the future, but please please do consider shooting for five minutes. I'm only critiquing because I think you're _so_ close to having a winner of a video series here, and short videos are an underserved niche, IMO.

Thanks for the detailed feedback there! Sorry for the delay in replying, your comment went into the spam heh. You're totally right on game titles and reading out exact numbers, will look to adjust that for next week. I will have to disagree on the length though, when you take into consideration practically all others doing things even close to this are around the hour mark (a lot going over), I think ten minutes is still incredibly short time to get info into peoples ears.

It's surprising that China (and perhaps Asia in general) doesn't have a high Linux uptake given the prevalence of Open Source in Shenzhen and the Chinese government's general dislike of Microsoft Windows. Not that I would look forward to such a thing, but you'd think the Chinese government would probably embrace something like a state-run distro, even though freedom isn't something that would be high on their agenda!
