War Thunder is (a) a lot of fun and (b) runs wonderfully even on average rigs. Even on my previous GTX960 I got consistently 60fps with all options cranked up - and the more recent tank and aircraft models just look great.

War thunder is fun, I have spend 100 of hours on war thunder on linux. But as you progress every thing become slower and slower. Until it gets frustrating. Do not play continuously!! Give it a break sometime.

I have an Debian 9 on AMD APU A8-5600k(opensource video driver) and now with no textures on any quality(only in this game). Don't know how to fix this. Many Steam games like The Talos Principle, Half Life 2, Portal 2 mods plays well. Playing only 2 windows-games: World of Tanks from native Wine and Hearthstone from PlayOnLinux.

im having trouble with it starting. When i start up the launcher it just goes grey. Also, if you want to use the planes you have you gotta play on realistic its a little harder if your not used to the game but its alot more rewarding when you win and get those wonderful shots.

I have no graphics, what prerequisites do i need to install ? when i use Xorg driver, the game executes and the menus work but i have no graphics, when i'm in a game no map, no tanks, it's all black and i can only see the HUD, and when i use the Nvidia 390 driver, there's no picture at all but merely sound !
