@@ciaranmccarthy if you have ssh set up then you can easily access the files from your Deck using many phone apps. I use CX File Explorer.

No, as it makes a local recording you would need to access in desktop mode, it mentions the path when you hit record. It saves to your device, not Steam Cloud so you wouldn't be able to just drop it into a chat.

Proton experimental need to fix anti cheat. I cant enjoy rouge company because they don't seems to care to get it fixed wonder why. It's been going on 3 months what's the hold up?

I did, but I think they don’t care or they’re just too busy either or it sucks the game played very good on the steam deck probably the game doesn’t make much money for them.

Not particularly no, and the backplate does get really warm. Might eventually just remove the thermal pad behind it, to have a cool looking backplate, I've never been fussed by the extra metal plate on the heat side of it. It's only really useful if you're going to attach something else to cool that down further IMO.

So does the Decky Loader recording option work like OBS, where it's always recording one big video file? Or is it like a PS/Xbox "clip that" feature where it has a buffer of the last X minutes of gameplay?

i didn't remember to take the sd card off when putting the plate back on when testing my new ssd. the card got ejected to the moon, and i was running windows from it at the moment it happened. thankfully nothing got corrupted, but it was just dumb luck

I think the jsaux backplate looks so cool but I'm just not sold on the heat spreader. I've heard other youtubers rave about it but that was always with a extra fan attachment that seems really gimmicky. Plus I don't think it will work with the killswitch, still waiting on my pre-order. Beginning of February I broke my L1 button from the steam deck falling off my bed (RMA'd repaired). Coincidentally did the same thing with the switch a few nights ago and it was unharmed. I can only go off of pictures but the killswitch looks like it will protect the buttons from falls fingers crossed.

I'd love to support JSAUX, but they're awful when it comes to customer support and replying back to emails. I'm currently trying to cancel my order and haven't heard from them in a few days.
