My boys are more into this game than myself, but since it's finally working on the SD I might have to grab it. I really enjoyed Minecraft Dungeons so having an RTS should be nice.

I agree with you on the microtransactions, but I also don't like the trend towards timed/monthly/etc challenges. I play a game whenever I feel like, it, not when the devs try to dangle some fomo in front of me. It's why I stopped playing TemTem, I knew I'd consume so much of my free time trying to finish everything instead of just jumping in and having fun. And I know a lot of these things are optional, but that's not the point. It just feels like another strategy by the marketing department of games companies where they try to artificially increase their daily player counts by adding nonsense stuff like this that requires players to launch the game in order to complete them. And I don't like that. I play games on my own time, which is very precious to me, as I have less and less of it going forward. Okay, sorry for the wall of text, rant over.
