on Denuvo - afaik Resident Evil village was the only time it had serious performance impact. digital foundry themselves did a video on it. overall I consider it more of a moral thing than a demonstrated performance hazard.

If you've played pd3, it feels very different. Especially stealth is basically a whole new game. And honestly, don't fix something that's not broken. PD2s gameplay loop is satisfying, but a bit outdated. PD3 doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's a solid upgrade to the old gameplay. Plus this beta is an older build of the game, from April I think. They've since added a lot more stuff.

It's running on unreal engine 4. The game is just badly optimized, almost no graphical options, doesn't have upscaling, etc.

Personally run's smooth around 30fps with some drop below . But I feel like low is looking pretty good so a very low settings could help . Also some fsr. Since it's mainly GPU bind. I think a good 60fps is possible

I failed big and dropped my Deck a few months ago. Valve was so nice to repair it for free (one shoulder button was broke). When they returned it I got a case without that line to take the Deck out of the case 🥲 Learned my lesson, will never drop it again 😂
