@@gamingonlinux Nothing to do with Deck but I find on my Linux desktop, the vast majority of games that actually do work on Proton, won't launch when I use the default experimental option. Then I have to test launch and start selecting the second newest version, 3rd, 4th, etc... Usually works on one of the first few. Is that normal for Linux desktop? Or is my system possibly set up wrong or messed up.

So... Can I get some help? I alrady have titanfall 2 for yeras now but obviuosly on EA, I have the EA app installed in luttris and titanfall 2 installed and works and runs fine, but I can't get northstar running. I feel like I'm just stupid

Once it gets running (Yep EA Launcher is verry annoying), Titanfall 2 is top tier good looking Game on the Steam Deck... It puts to Shame some other games. I feel Steam Deck is still an excellent baseline of what newer games should set as their floor for performance. Played it a whirl back and indeed will go back to it...Interestingly even the main multiplayer was sometimes working when I played it a few months back. But am very happy that mods like Northstar are about and healthy by the looks vlof it.

Once you get the EA Launcher/Rockstar/Ubisoft working once I believe you dont gotta do it again on any other EA game. On my gaming laptop that uses Linux I never had to signin to any third party launcher again

For PC on Arch, I installed Viper through AUR and used "DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% -northstar" as launch options. Definitely runs better with the DXVK for me, using a GTX970. I constantly have problems with DirectX at the moment, but closing the DXSETUP.exe in something like htop or bashtop works for me with Titanfall 2.

Hi. So I have just downloaded it today in the deck, and the campaign was just buttery smooth, but when I tried to enter the multiplayer mode , it got stuck on "retrieving matchmaking list" and stays there . I am running proton experimental and steam os 2.9 stabel, not the beta .
