The game has a healthy and steady small community. You don't need tons of players to have fun - unless you want to play PVP, which unfortunately is kinda dead - but there are always some people in the coop (invasion). During and shortly after seasonal sales there use to be more than average.

In Man vs World, almost every vehicle is a potential end-of-game deathtrap- one LAW at the wrong moment and it's all over. Also, that beeping timer should be allowed to tick down to zero to mark areas as captured - I have no idea if that stops resupply in those areas, but I like to be tidy.

a map starts with a fixed amount of enemies, there is no respawn in this mode, neither you, neither the enemy. The enemy can re-cap the bases yes, but they are most likely defending which makes it very unlikely that they recap - happens once in a while though when you cleared the center of the base and you have some patrolling units outside who decide to go check the center of the "cleared" base after a while
