If this is true and it last it'll be amazing since i like dbd with friends but my computer is so bad playing killer is impossible and playing survivor im basically forced into suicide rescuing people since no joke my current computer runs the game so poorly I've have to hit skill checks before they even show up on screen with how bad the delay and skipping is so doing a gen or healing is near impossible.

Hey, listen ive got the same thing, iGPU intel hd 4000, i5 7200u CPU, if i play on pc i only play survivor mainly and i play it by decreasing the screen size to non full screen, and lowest resolution possible with low graphics. It gives me 30-45 fps max on indoor maps like game and rpd. If you're hellbent on playing on pc follow this. Ill eventually be getting a steam deck and hopefully dbd would play like a breeze then.

That is some god tier survivor gameplay right there 😂 For real tho, I’m actually super happy about this. When dbd did their graphics update a couple years ago, my potato computer could no longer run the game above 25fps. Now I can get back into it

@@gamingonlinux the fear won't last for long though. First I played against Huntress and heard her lullaby I was nearly shitting my pants. Now it's quite rare the game can actually terrify except for some jump scare builds of killers

Advice if you want to get into dbd and you're scared, watch gameplays. Most dbd players including me would agree dbd is more fun to watch than play sometimes. I love dbd ever since i saw its trailer back in 2016 and was only able to play on my laptop since 2021. Meaning 5 years of pure gameplay vids. The scare factor goes most matches now when i play and its more a game of how long i can get the killer to chase me (not an overt much lmao) but every so often the killers do something weird or are really skilled to the point that my heart starts pounding. Unlocking the exit gate, last man standing and the killer coming with an insta down hit just gets you to an adrenaline high. I reccomend dbd even though i 'hate' it.

I don’t think Crytek ever publicly announced that Hunt: Showdown enabled EAC for Linux a few months back, and it’s still working… I’m not sure why devs wouldn’t want to announce what is essentially the “launch” of their game on a new popular platform, but at least they’re supporting it! There’s a few games that have straight up said they’ll never enable EAC for Linux, which is more frustrating than having it work without official confirmation.

This is so cool, I have DBD on switch, and while its the full game, its capped at 30 fps (gen checks cough) This looks so good and at 60 fps? also it will be able to run Diablo 4 as well. Im a little tempted to get the maxed out steam deck instead of a new pc at this point.

I hope It's temporary (or some new methods appear), because it's sad to be unable to play only, because one have obtained the game in a wrong shop.
