There's no exact release date for 1.2 yet but you can try it any time right now :)

As someone who has over 400 hours on Grounded on Linux, seeing this type of support from Obsidian makes me really happy. Seriously can't wait for this update.

Wizards & Warriors (2000) with Lutris. I don't know why, but I love playing old first person RPG's on the SteamDeck. Still trying to figure out the Might & Magic 7 framerate problem atm.

Portal 1&2. Even the local coop works great on SD with two controllers on the TV. I've been playing them with my kids. They were just a few dollars in steam.

I have been playing Baker Business 3 which is a clicker management game that I can use just touch screen and lay in bed... my legs are being stubborn and i cant sit up in a chair so this is perfect...

I originally got Grounded because my brother wanted to do a coop playthrough, now i'm 100 hours in, around 80 are on my own playthrough, and it's been a refreshing experience, the humor, world, and gameplay are incredible, being able to go on between my main pc and my steam deck seamlessly, it's been probably some of the most fun game I've had in the past years with a videogame, now i'm in the middle of a grind for materials to build buoyant foundations, to build a floating castle in the middle of the pond, with tall towers to deploy a zip line network across the entire yard, massive construction project here. First person adventure games are honestly amazing on the steam deck, i recommend giving a try to King's Field games (specially 4), or the Shadow Tower games if you want something more challenging, Mirror's Edge games too. If you aren't into emulation there's an indie game still in development called Lunacid, it's on steam, costs like 5 or 7$, and it's complete love letter to the King's Field franchise, I've been honestly holding back on playing it because i want to see it finished it before i start, because i know once i press start, i ain't dropping the deck until either it dies or i finish the game. And btw, thanks to the latest mesa drivers, cryotools improvements etc, I've been able to play Monster Hunter World on mid to high settings 40Hz/40fps without many issues, maybe some drops on some of the more spectacular and particle heavy fights like teostra or fatalis, running it at 578p or something like that with FSR, i remember when the deck came out and even some months later it was usually labeled as unplayable due to frame rate issue and poor performance, but now, i can confidently say it's playable, incredible work the one valve and the community is putting on the steam deck. Now i just have to get a decent SD card and try Star Citizen on it.

And another + for this developer. Takes arachnophobia seriously (unlike the METRO DEVELOPERS) and supports a small group of people.

The more developers that support it, the more people buy Steam Deck. What a nice feedback loop, for a change.

Heard today that Ironsight worked on Linux so I played a couple of matches.

Wow, mixed input support is great for gyro gamers in general too, not just Steam Deck gamers. Lots of us play with gyro controls on our desktop PCs with the Steam Controller, DS4, DualSense, or Switch Pro Controller.

Now I can play this game.

Nice, especially if they support gyro control. This will definitely increase my playtime on Grounded. I’ve never actually finished it lol

Is this with fsr turned on or is it off, it be nice if it could maintain 40fps locked instead of jumping all over the shop

I've always been interested in this game but dont have the time to sit at my desktop and play this. I'll definitely give it a try, also dredge is a fantastic game on SD. I highly recommend checking that out.

It is now verified but had to choose proton version 6.x before it would launch. Have frozen once though. Playing Subsistence, medieval dynasty, stranded deep, grounded, and my grand daughter plays the Disney dream world.
