Excellent Video GE! One Note: the text in the items you are displaying on screen are quiet small and hard to read without using fullscreen mode on YT, it will probably quiet hard to read for people on mobile. You might need to push up the scaling on the monitor you used for recording in future videos. (will probs need more input from others to see if its just a me problem or not) One Question: Is there a method to get the native OBS to record game capture of games/programs that run through Flatpak? there is a toggle switch in Bottles to enable "OBS Game Capture" in a Bottles settings but it is greyed out, is that feature limited to just the Flatpak version of OBS?

Great video! It's good to see someone correctly set up the programs that people regurally have trouble with.

On Nobara are you able to turn all of the items on the Brave Browsers 'brave://gpu/' screen to green? It bugs me that on Fedora I can't fully utilise my GPU in many of my frequently used apps by default, so I'd be tempted to try Nobara if it is better at utilising the GPU and reducing CPU usage.

you should scale up the screen to maybe 2x so that the content would more consumable on mobile, I have to zoom in so much on my phone. If this is possible for the next upload 🙏

Hello, First of all, thank you so much for your amazing work on Nobara. I'm sorry for asking this here, but I wasn’t sure where this kind of question would get noticed the fastest. I'm using Nobara 42 (GNOME), and after the recent update to OBS 31.1, the application became quite unstable on my system. When I close OBS, it keeps running in the background with no tray icon or visual indication, and I can’t reopen the GUI. When I try to launch it again, it says it's already running and asks if I want to start another instance. The StreamElements overlay no longer appears, and I’m unsure whether that’s an OBS or StreamElements issue. Lastly, my webcam feed starts to lag when I switch between scenes. Has anyone else reported this? Again, thank you for all the work you do!

When it opens on the wrong screen, just push "shift + meta + arrows" (left or right) - and it will throw it to the other screens. Whether it's a browser or a system window or a game; or even a full screen video, etc. (well, maybe not in OBS? I'm not sure. I've never used OBS).

Can you do one of these vids about running GameScope? I tried it and when I selected it at the log in screen, it would take me to a black screen. (I'm on old hardware that doesn't support Vulcan, so maybe that's all the problem was). If there are any specific steps that we need to take while installing- I'd love to see that vid as well; (maybe there's nothing to it- I'm not sure). Cheers.

HI GE, bee using linux as a daily driver for over 2 years but haven't really dove into the system. Hope you can shed a light on how linux haddles it. I seem to be experiencing my system and home mount address change every reboot. Noticed this when i was missing my game libraries with RPCS3 and PCSX2. and have to point to the same folder again on settings. many thanks.

I mean when i update to a newer version are my config settings stays the same or do i have to reapply them? Thanks!

Having a great time using Nobara lately. Coming fresh from Windows, trying Fedora, Cachy, Pop and other, Nobara is definitely hitting my sweet spot. If it's not to much to ask, could you make a video on how to setup/map network drives? I used to have a Jellyfin server running on Windows, it took 5 minutes to set up since mapping network drives was as easy as just right clicking a folder from my NAS and map a drive letter to it, then Jellyfin would just find it. I have yet to add a single media in Jellyfin using any Linux distro since from what I can find it requires extensive terminal knowledge and adding auto mounts and stuff for it to work properly. Thanks for making these videos, great help and knowledge for us Linux noobs.
