AMD AMF encoder struggles are finally over, it's NOT NEEDED ANY MORE!!A NEW VAAPI plugin came out for linux OBS called GStreamer VAAPI. This video was recorded at full 4k resolution -- 3840x2160, Ultra Nightmare. No FSR, No DLSS, nothing like that. full native. It was captured using obs-vkcapture -- no capture card! no two system setup!It was recorded using the gstreamer vaapi plugin -- at full 4k resolution with 60mbps bitrate (average for 4k video), and it didn't even break a sweat. I am baffled and amazed at this plugin. PLEASE give it a try, especially if you are struggling on older hardware, I'd be curious to see how well it performs.
