Just to clarify, this build runs on low end systems as well. I have people in my discord running it on potatoes.

amazing you run this game higher than 60 frames at 4k that insane power of the radeon VII. Ppl sometimes miss under estimated.

@@GloriousEggroll oh okay good find then just made it looked back in old days. I am going to try out your proton tonight, if it works that will remove about 95% of the reason I still have windows on my computer. Thank you for your work and I hope the new job at Red hat is treating you well.

it's not, the capture card just oversaturated everything, its a cheapo chinese one, but its able to do 4k60 passthrough with 1080p downscale capture for $100, so i cant really complain lol

Maybe you know this, i also have a radeon 7 and i'm running fedora 29. But my gpu hangs sometimes while using chrome. When that happens i need to restart my complete pc. Do you have any idea how to fix that?

seems latest mesa git + llvm help quite a bit with GPU performance, and also older versions of llvm are usually the cause of gpu hangs. id go ahead and upgrade to fedora 30 (it comes out at the end of the month anyway), then use the mesa/llvm from this copr repo: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/che/mesa/ follow the install instructions and dont use the quick enable. you'll need to manually add the repos, he explains why in the install instructions

I'm currently troubleshooting why the game is freezing up on my under Lutris. I'm running Antergos on a 1800X and a Vega 64, everything is updated. Sound is a little crackly also, I just installed the distro yesterday.

Game doesn't run as well on lutris because wine and dxvk and faudio all need patches, and the mingw version of faudio doesnt work as well. Try my proton build with steam

After trying to run Warframe with the Proton build, Warframe went missing from the my steam Library and deleted itself. I try and reinstall but I keep getting "Failed to update (invalid platform)". It says Warframe is already in my Steam library and I have proton enabled in Steam settings. On Manjaro KDE. Would really appreciate any help!

@@GloriousEggroll I followed those instructions but yeah then all that happened. Fixed it just now. Had to remove steam and all it's config files, as well as removing Warframe from my library through Steam support. Was a fun ride, but the performance is great! Many thanks for the build!

right click warframe in your library, click properties. Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play Compatibility Tool", select Proton-4.5-GE-Beta-4 from the drop down. then click close and try to install it in steam.
