Tekken 7 running on Ubuntu Linux through Steam play. No issues here. Controller worked fine, multiplayer worked fine. Tekken rules, I suck.

Does Linux currently lose many frames compared to Windows in games via proton?

Some games run very good on proton and some games don't run at all, it all depends. In regards to performance I've not done any direct comparisons but you have to expect proton to run worse than in Windows.

Looks pretty good. I am a fan of the series ever since I played the PSP version of Tekken5 on PSP, bought Tekken6 for PSP and Tekken7 for PC too albeit I still have latter sitting on my external NTFS harddrive. Not that bad actually, I should try mounting the drive and play the game myself, it looks fine to me judging by your video!

Paradoxically tekken 7 works better on linux than windows to me. I am a linux user since 2007, I dreamed the "gaming on linux" era for years. Finally I think this fateful moment is coming.

That's what it is for some people! I grew up with it and when I was young I used to smash every button, I know it's more in depth then that now. So yes, I know what I'm talking about.
