Fallout 4 running on Ubuntu Linux through Steam play. No issues launching the game. As shown in the video I had issues with the audio (voices and footsteps etc), and issues with the mouse input so reverted to using a Steam controller.

Are you still running It on dell 15 7559? I updated to 18.04.1 LTS. But there are too many bugs. Are you using bumblebee or you costantly use Nvidia card as default

@@Jakejw93 I fixed it all. Now it works like a charm. Yes i have another desktop pc(3k€) (with a good gpu) but I'm a student and I don't want to bring my desktop pc to the campus. Anyway if someone have problems with this pc playing games on linux distros can reply this comment and if I have time can help you.

I still use my dell laptop yes, but not as a main computer. I'm using nvidia

When flibitijibibo's FAudio gets mainlined in wine it should fix all sound issues. Also the mouse issue can be fixed by setting background mouse to 1 in the config files. The only other issues that I have is the game freezing when closing the game.

FAudio is now in Wine version 4.3

@@jakekelerno1611 in Fallout4.ini (located in USER/My Documents/My Games/Fallout4/Fallout4.ini) set the bBackgroundMouse located in the Controls section value to 1. Do the same in Fallout4_Default.ini this time located in the Fallout 4 game folder.

Yeh i had some mouse issues as mentioned in the video, which is why I used the Steam controller

Thanks might take a look, although the game currently doesn't crash so might wait for a better solution hah.
