How did you get passed the black screen after finishing prologue please help im on linux mint 20. I finished the prologue and after it says chapter 1 revenge it goes and stays on a black screen forever I cannot find a fix. Perhaps you know?

Okay everybody on steam it crashes after the epilogue if you are on proton above 5.13 so right click on mgs5 in steam library and then compatiblity and set it to 5.01 which is what I set it to and now it works and enjoy you're game I hops this helps you I found it on the proton dB deep inside the forum.
