Hexen: Beyond Heretic - one of the many FPS games from the 90's, which in my opinion is a true classic. Is it without flaws though? Surely not! More on the video.

I remember that game fondly, but I don't think I've played it very far. It simply had a very cool atmosphere. I think you can use the word review. Most people use it without completing the game in question, so you are one large step ahead.

The only think that sucks about doomsday source port is the widescreen support, you can see that when you use the arc of death( third weapon of the mage) where the hands weren't made in 16:9 in mind, other than that, i like the special effects like blueish colors at the first level.

Maybe try running this game in the Linux version of GZDoom. That may not have the sound issue

Aaah, the old 'Gibbet' gamebreaking bug. If you've saved, noclip thru to the Heresiarch boss. One more hub, the 'undead' hub, comes after. Custom maps are the way to go with Hexen tho, for sure! And with games like GRAVEN announced, Hexen's spirit lives on!
