@@__improwise__ Nevermind I think you may be right, I thought cleartype off was equivalent to having no AA in BCT.

@@nerdstrangler4804 Switching to greyscale is to turn it off AFAIK. You can verify this by enable/disable ClearType in Windows the normal way and then start BCT and you would see that the setting has changed.

Should try downloading better cleartype tuner and switching to greyscale. I found that preferable to turning it off altogether.

Thank you! Yeap, I forgot to include the PC mode input source enabling to the monitor setup video and added it afterwards to the description and pinned comment, my bad. 🙂 Regarding those low regions, I keep them empty in order to avoid accidental taskbar overlap. It works fine as the 4k resolution provides enough pixels to play around with.😋

It's strange how LG managed to allocate more of these OLEDs to the EU market. I would have thought the exact opposite and US getting most of the stock, but I guess this time it went this way.

Thanks for the correction! I checked and indeed, FreeSync seems to work sub-40fps as well although the AMD software says that the display is reporting the FreeSync range as 40-120Hz. 🤷♂️

@@kallestofeles Thanks for trying to help but with Clear Typ off the text looks even worse and blurry 😅 Also I can't get RGB, my GPU doesn't support HDMI 2.1 so it's YCBCR which barely makes any difference visually tho HDMI Deep color is always on 4k

Verify that you have the full RGB 444 chroma subsampling set in the drivers and "General > Devices > HDMI Settings > HDMI Deep Colour" is set to 4k. In windows, also you would want to make sure that "Clear Type" text feature is turned OFF for better text clarity as the OLED subpixel layout is different from the regular LCD RGB layout which the feature is meant for. When disabling Clear Type, be sure to reboot as well as the setting will tell you that it has been disabled, but in reality only takes effect after the display session has been properly closed. Hope this helps! :)
